My client is undoubtably a Market Leader and has been established for twelve years.
They currently have offices based in London, Amsterdam, Reading, Birmingham, Manchester, New York, Frankfurt and Brussels, with planned expansion in the next 12 months to incorporate Scotland, Dubai, Hong Kong and Australia.
The Manchester Office (City Centre) have 35 Consultants and plan to take on a further 30 consultants to Dec 2008.
What’s more this company has a 86% staff retention record, which is unprecedented in the Recruitment industry (or any other industry for that matter)! This is a testament to how they treat their staff.
Everybody starts at the same level – Trainee Consultant on £16K basic (in Manchester one Consultant was even a solicitor on £40K basic – sometimes you have to take one step back to go three steps forward). When you first start, you will embark on a dedicated 12 week training programme which has won several awards within the industry.
First year earnings for an ‘average’ consultant are £35-45K, a ‘good’ consultant can expect to earn £60K. One consultant in London earned £190K in her first year.. Her background? A teacher! Another Consultant who started a year ago (from a financial background) is setting up the Hong Kong office!
